Created from a "retired" chainsaw chain, birch bark and sterling silver.
In the fall of 2022 we had a hurricane hit Prince Edward Island. Fiona downed hundreds and hundreds of trees on our property and tens of thousands across the island.
I spent months sawing up downed trees and went thru a half dozen chainsaw chains. This ring was created with the links from one of the chainsaw chains. This piece was created for a Fiona themed gallery exhibition.
This wears beautifully! So comfortable and if this doesn't get some attention I would be seriously surprised!
